Welcome to Whitgiftian Junior Rugby
The club provides opportunities for young people between the ages of four years and 18 years old to receive coaching and competition in Rugby Union Football. All coaching is by qualified coaches who are trained and have been screened for their suitability for working with young people.
The club is presently applying for Sport England's Clubmark/Rugby Football Union's ("RFU") Seal of Approval, which is awarded to clubs by the RFU when the club is able to demonstrate that it meets their criteria as to playing programme; safeguarding and protecting children; sports equity and ethics and club management.
Clubmark/Seal of Approval is an acknowledgement that we take these issues seriously and that we are striving to provide a high quality and welcoming environment for young participants in the sport.
We welcome parents/carers to all training sessions and competitions and value your support. We also hold a number of social events during the season where you will be able to meet club members and fellow parents/carers.
